Penny pinching pups: budget travel with a dog
Travelling with the dog doesn't have to cost an arm and four legs...
Dog-Friendly Weekends is going to print in less than two months’ time and we are EXCITED to say the least! As we announced in January, the book is now available to pre-order online, so hit the button below and share it with your friends, family and four-legged mates.
Before I get into this week’s topic on budget dog-friendly travel, I want to remind you of some of the great content I’ve shared over the last nine months since starting this newsletter…
Last year I wrote about dog-friendly city breaks to inspire you to pound the urban streets with your pup
I also covered slow travel with the dog and explored why it’s the best way to see the world
Dartmoor got some attention after we spent a soggy few days on its tors
And I rounded up the best dog-friendly museums in Britain
I write about the most dog-friendly places in gorgeous Yorkshire in August 2021
Finally, last month I covered the best dog-friendly hotels in Britain to inspire your next adventure
I’ll keep writing this newsletter until the book comes out in May, so keep an eye out for future editions at the end of each new month! Thank you, as ever, for being a subscriber and supporting this dog-friendly project.
Budget travel with a dog — how to make it work
I won’t tell you how much researching this book has cost me, because it wouldn’t make me a very good advert for saving money on the road. To be frank, I am too lazy to save money on my travels. I like to be in the best location, at the best hotel, and to be served food from the best restaurants in the area.
